Our innovative technology delivers a system for continuous and precise monitoring, specifically designed to detect strain (deformation) along the entire pipeline infrastructure. Utilizing any technology (Brillouin, Raman or Raleigh) interrogator or B-OTDR our system can identify strain within the pipe, translating line movements or gas leaks into timely alarms.
Our proprietary textile sensors are designed for the continuous monitoring of the gas network. Lab tests focused on gas dispersion confirmed the sensor's functionality in detecting gas presence with extreme precision and very small delay.
Significantly contribute to the reduction of operational costs and risks for the population, offering an efficient and sustainable tool for managing leaks in medium-pressure gas networks (5 bar) and strain even in low pressure networks. The Proof of Concept (PoC) tests conducted by Knitronix on testing units in air and under the sand confirmed the sensor's operation and provided valuable data for measurement accuracy with detected deformation as low as 2 mm.
